This park is a must-visit destination for an extraordinary wildlife experience without venturing excessively far from the metropolitan hustle and bustle. Spread across a vast expanse of 117 square kilometers, Nairobi National Park offers a chance to see the Big 4 leaving out the Elephants which are present at the next destination.

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a world-renowned conservation organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants and rhinos. Founded in 1977 by Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick, the trust provides these animals with a safe haven and prepares them for reintroduction into the wild. Visiting the trust is a heartwarming experience, as you can watch baby elephants being fed and playing in the mud while learning about the vital conservation efforts being carried out.

Finally, later visit the Giraffe Centre, where you hand-feed endangered Rothschild's giraffes from an elevated wooden platform — putting you at eye level with the world's tallest animal.
