8 DAYS THROUGH KENYA SERENE PARKS.

On the first day of your Kenyan Safari you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to the wonderful Ol Pejeta Conservancy to arrive at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch. This is the only place in Kenya where Chimpanzees are found. Sweetwaters is home to orphaned Chimpanzees, introduced to Kenya by the British researcher Jane Goodall to protect the otherwise endangered species. The Reserve has a high concentration of animals in relation to its area.

Elephant, buffalo and the rare Rhino can be found there. After lunch, proceed on afternoon game drive in the conservancy including a visit to Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will head north making your way through the rugged African countryside. Stunning landscapes will unfold during the journey and you will have the opportunity to stop and take photographs at the Equator as you begin your discovery of Kenya.

Full Day spent exploring the Samburu game reserve park.
The day starts with breakfast, followed by a game drive through the national reserve. Your expert Kenyan safari guide will be on hand to help you find and identify the stunning array of animals that live in the park. Along with lions, buffalo, and giraffes, you can also expect to see baboons, warthogs, oryx, hippos and the many more creatures you may only have marveled at through a screen before.

You’ll return to your accommodation for lunch and time to rest and relax in the afternoon. Sunset over the savanna is a sight the behold, and you’ll leave your lodge or camp in time to watch the sun dip below the horizon of the park. The move from daytime to evening sees the character of the plains and forests change, with nocturnal and scavenging animals coming to life under cover of darkness.

Greeted by dinner, your return to your accommodation will be in the early evening.

After breakfast at your lodge, drive to Ark Lodge Country Club in the Aberdare National Park, offering a variety of breath-taking mountainous landscapes as well as an opportunity to stay up all night and watch game drink at a floodlit waterhole from one of Kenya’s unique ‘tree lodges’ arrive in the club in time for lunch, check in at your cabin and enjoy your hot lunch.

After breakfast , you continue your adventure through the valleys of Kenya and head to Lake Naivasha.
Once at the lake and having had lunch, there’ll be a boat trip to Crescent Island. Here, the large herbivores of the plains graze and cool down, with

*Impalas
*Buffalo
And plenty more animals ready to be spotted.
You will enjoy a walking safari at the island without the constraints of a safari vehicle.

Other activities you can partake in at Lake Naivasha include optional extra such as bicycle riding and a tour of Hell’s Gate National Park.

After breakfast you’ll progress through the Great African Rift Valley, with stops at scenic points giving you chance to capture photos of the enchanting scenery and stunning rock formations. You’ll arrive at your accommodation in time for lunch inside Masai Mara Game Reserve. After a short break to settle in, you’ll get stuck into the safari tour with your first game drive through the Serengeti. Dinner will be served as you spend your first night inside the park.

Breakfast at your camp or lodge will be served before you head out on your full day game drive through the grasslands and rolling hills of Masai Mara Game Reserve. Home to over three million wild animals, the landscape teems with life for you to marvel at, including:
*Lions
*Wildebeest
*Leopards
*Buffalo
*Giraffes
And many more stars of the African plains that have captured the imagination of so many for so long.
A picnic style lunch is served on the banks of the Mara River, and if you’re visiting in the right season, you may just get to witness the iconic migrations of the Serengeti.

You are also provided the option of visiting a village of Masai Mara warriors. The culture of these nomads is known the world over, their courage in battle with wild animals is stuff of legend. Your visit will include a traditional welcome of singing and dancing and you will be invited to learn some of the culture and visit a home in the village. An extra fee of US$30 per person is applied for this activity.

After breakfast at your lodge, a morning game drive comes after breakfast at your accommodation, forming part of the journey you will make to back to Nairobi, giving you time to bid farewell to the beauty of the Masai Mara with a briefing from your guide before departing for a drive through the Great African Rift Valley. There are opportunities to take photographs across the stunning vistas and breath-taking landscapes, such as the Suswa Ranges and Mount Longonot, throughout the trip.

You are also provided the option of taking a hike up Mt Longonot. it is relatively a low altitude mountain giving an opportunity to undertake a half day hike to the crater and back. An extra fee of US$150 per person is applied for this activity.
